Founded in 1888 in Belfast Ireland:

Dunlop started by producing bicycle tires and later made a name for themselves through motorcar racing throughout Europe. The Dunlop brand was acquired by Sumitomo Rubber and the brand rights for North America was acquired by Goodyear in 1999.

Kelly-Springfield Tire:

Kelly is the oldest tire brand in the USA. Kelly-Springfield was acquired by Goodyear in 1935.

Titan Tire International:

Titan Tire was founded by Morry Taylor and focuses on off the road and specia lty tires. Titan Tire has grown through buying competitors. In 1994 Titan acquired Armstrong. In 2005 Titan purchased Goodyear's Farm tire division and now produces Goodyear branded farm tires. In 2006 Titan acquired the off the road division of Continental/General on now produces General branded off the road tires. In 2010 Titan acquired the assets of Denman Tire. Titan farm and industrial tires come OE on some equipment.

Specialty Tires of America started as McCreary Tire and now produces Farm, off the road, ATV, industrial and military tires in their two American plants.

Vogue Tyres:
Headquarters: USA - Chicago IL
Founded in 1914 in Chicago IL:

Vogue Tyres has been designing premium tires for luxury cars for almost 100 years. In 1935 Vogue Tyres contracted with Kelly-Springfield to build their tires. This relationship ended in 2011 and Sailun Tire is now the producer of the Vogue Tyres. Vogue is best known for their distinctive white/gold sidewall design.

Founded in 1932 in Nokia Finland:

Known worldwide for their outstanding winter tires. Nokian Tyres produces tires for cars, light trucks, buses and heavy equipment. Spun off from parent company Nokia in 1988.

Yokohama Tire:
Headquarters: Japan - Tokyo
Founded in 1917 in Tokyo Japan:

Yokohama products are OE on some of the world's best cars. They produce consumer, commercial and OTR tires around the world and now produce tires in the former Armstrong plant in Salem VA.

Sumitomo Rubber:
Headquarters: Japan- Kobe
Founded in 1909 in Kobe Japan:

Sumitomo began by having a business relationship with Dunlop Rubber, a British company. In 1985 Sumitomo acquired Dunlop's operations worldwide. Sumitomo later formed an agreement with Goodyear to sell them the rights to produce and sell the Dunlop brand in North America .

The Vanderbilt Brand is a private label tire that is marketed in the United States and Canada by TBC Corporation. TBC is a tire distribution company that is owned by Sumitomo Rubber of Japan. The Vanderbilt Turbo Tech branded tires are currently produced by Cooper Tire Company.

LingLong started as Shandong LingLong Tyre Company. The Sentry brand is imported and distributed through the United States from the Sentry Tire office in Copley OH. Consumer, commercial and specialty tires are produced under the Sentry brand name.

Sailun Tire:

Founded in 2002 in Qingdao China:

Sailun began as a manufacturer of tire building equipment and in 2002 began to build their own tires under the Sailun brand. Sailun builds consumer and commercial tires for sale in North & South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. TBC Corporation is the exclusive importer and distributor of Sailun tires in the u.s. and Canada.

Uniroyal started as The United States Rubber Company and produced t ires in America . In 1990 Uniroyal was acquired by Michelin.

General Tire:

General Tire was acquired by Continental in 1987. The General brand name is marketed by Conti in North America and comes OE on some vehicles.
